Speed control mufflers are screwed into the pneumatic valve exhaust ports. The cylinder exhaust is throttled by the adjustable port flow control, and back pressure is developed, reducing the cylinder stroke period.
Speed control mufflers provide safe airflow regulation at an acceptable sound level on exhaust ports of air control valves.
