For light cleaning and deburring work on threaded holes or recesses, e.g. keyways. Brass wire filament brushes are designed for applications like surface finishing on copper or brass workpieces. Compared to steel wire, brass wire is softer and more flexible. For all brushes with brass wire, PFERD uses wire quality CuZn37. Brass wire is temperature-resistant up to 350°F.

When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This especially applies to high rotational speed ranges. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
Other Details
Highly flexible, enabling optimal adaptation to the workpiece contour.
In tube brushes with a short eyelet, the filament reaches up to the tip of the brush.
Longer service life due to the design of the stem.
The bent end of the wire does not have any sharp edges, which prevents delicate surfaces from getting scratched.
